The Lord’s narrow gate …..through his son, the light of the world..

I/ἐγώ/EYE AM THAT I/ἐγώ/EYE AM

Exodus 3:14 (KJV)

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Matthew 7:13 (KJV)
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

John 8:12-30 (KJV)

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

On September 9th, 1941 in his speech to the House of Commons Winston Churchill paraphrased the last two lines of the poem ‘Invictus’ a Victorian poem by the English poet William Ernest Henley stating: “We are still masters of our fate. We still are captain of our souls.” in addition to boldly proclaiming “salvation shall not be denied us”. In Churchill’s self-asserting footsteps, while incarcerated at Robben Island prison, Nelson Mandela is said to have recited the same poem to other prisoners and was empowered by its message of self-masteryInteresting to know for those aware of the various occult happenings at Trafalgar Square London right now, Nelson Mandela was name after Lord Nelson, a historical prototype of the Antichrist, who’s statue is featured prominently there.

Lord Nelson was a British flag officer in the Royal Navy. He was noted for his inspirational leadership, superb grasp of strategy, and unconventional tactics, all of which resulted in a number of decisive naval victories, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars (1797–1815). He was significantly wounded several times in combat, losing both the sight of his right eye and having to suffer the amputation of his right arm, two aspects familiar with the Biblical description of the Antichrist.

Zechariah 11:17 (KJV)

17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

Nelson was shot and killed during his final pivotal victory at the naval Battle of Trafalgar against the combined Napoleonic French and Royal Spanish fleets off the southwest coast of Spain in 1805. Daniel Valles from Informedchristians.com has a wonderful teaching on topic here.

The synchronicities with Mandela and Invictus run even deeper; he is featured in the movie Invictus presenting a copy of the poem to Francois Pienaar, captain of the national South African rugby team, for inspiration during the Rugby World Cup.

The poem’s last stanza was also quoted by Barack Obama at the end of his speech at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service (10 December 2013). In this contextual trail of war, captivity and death, the poem’s line “bloody, but unbowed” was chosen as the Daily Mirror‘s headline the day after the 7 July 2005 London bombings. Congruent to this terror meme, the poem is said to have been selected by Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh as his final statement before his execution, or rather his handlers. Armed with discernment, let us read for ourselves:

Invictus

William Ernest Henley

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gait,
How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul

To many these iconic last two lines will resonate with the media pervasive, worldwide branded and occultly laden Invictus Games to be held in Orlando Florida soon.

This 10 minute video sheds light on the hidden truth beneath the Invictus Games’ branding surface layers. Mic drop  | Boom explained.

At first glance or hearing, the poem’s words and above mentioned mass media Invictus Games outworking may resonate as inspiring and empowering. Carefully selected marketing and communication content that has probably helped many endure and overcome painful and difficult circumstances and odds stacked against them. We are nonetheless challenged to test their driving spirits and source their origins.

Where there seems a lot to commend about basic human strength, overcoming qualities and abilities sourced in an ‘unconquerable spirit….’, there is not only a vital element being neglected if this were to actually reflect our approach to life and the challenges we face. It is in fact antichrist, diametrically opposed to what is truly inspiring and powerful. Truth. It is liberating, protective within God given bounds, mercy and grace. It is what changes us. A true driving force and captain.

Building on this, further study teaches us that what is actually being referred to in the poem is the so called ‘Sol Invictus’, or the “Unconquered Sun”. An official pagan sun god of the later Roman Empire and a patron of soldiers. In 274 AD the Roman emperor Aurelian made it an official cult alongside the traditional Roman cults. The god was favored by emperors after Aurelian and appeared on their coins until Constantine.

Progressing down the rabbit hole Wikipedia shares with us that the book entitled ‘Church of Satan‘ carries the Invictus poem in its opening epigraph. It’s first chapter named “Let the Games Begin” continues with quotes from proponents and opponents of Satanism followed by illustrative examples of contemporary Satanic practice. The subsequent chapters unveil “Satan’s Master Plan” confirmed by one of its main proponents Anton LaVey. He overtly confirms “his commitment to destroy Christianity and herd mentality in all forms” and  presents a “Five-Point Program” of Satanic goals to change the world. This morbid game playing meme has not only been pushed by the Invictus Games, but by many international sports tournaments and multimedia predictive programming efforts alongside, especially noting the Olympic Games, Hunger Games and Game of Thrones.

As we have come to learn from previous blog posts, a mass ritual sacrifice – foreshadowing the Biblically foretold sudden destruction preceded by the rapture or catching up of the church by our Lord Jesus Christ – is currently playing out aiming to strike globally with special emphasis on both NYC and London with so many angles and touch points to consider, watchmen worldwide need to work together to study, decode, inform and forewarn people accordingly. We will watch alongside them for His soon coming, help people to wake-up to the end times prophetic reality and prepare accordingly.

This particular ‘Sol Invictus’ type will be observed as well for reasons mentioned in this previous post.

In 2014, it was announced the Duke would take on a full-time role as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, based at Cambridge Airport. Although a qualified military pilot able to operate as a Sea King captain, William needed a civil pilot’s license and further training before being permitted to take command of the Air Ambulance. On 13 July 2015, the Duke started his captain-of-the-air job, which he felt was ‘a natural progression’ from his previous job as a search-and-rescue pilot with the Royal Air Force.

Thus, the prince and rescuer of the air, 33 years old (the year Jesus finished his ministry) continues to prepare for future kingship.

Now, a welcome change in perspective, found in the book “Clean Hands, Pure Heart” by Philip A Harrison mentioned on this blog. The author shares a wonderful response to the Invictus poem by Elder Orson F. Whitney conveying beautifully how Truth in our Lord Jesus Christ is no match to people’s false perception of ‘Sol Invictus’:

The Soul’s Captain | The Answer
 Orson F Whitney

Art thou in truth? Then what of him
Who bought thee with his blood?
Who plunged into devouring seas
And snatched thee from the flood?

Who bore for all our fallen race
What none but him could bear. –
The God who died that man might live,
And endless glory share?

Of what avail thy vaunted strength,

Apart from his vast might?
Pray that his Light may pierce the gloom,
That thou mayest see aright.

Men are as bubbles on the wave,
As leaves upon the tree.
Thou, captain of thy soul, forsooth
Who gave that place to thee?

Free will is thine — free agency
To wield for right or wrong;
But thou must answer unto him
To whom all souls belong.

Bend to the dust that head “unbowed,”
Small part of Life’s great whole!
And see in him, and him alone,
The Captain of thy soul.

Jesus stills the storm

(Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25)

23And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.26And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Truth is a person. His name is Jesus Christ. The one, true captain of the heart, mind and soul, Lion of the tribe of Judah…..coming very soon for His bride.

Be ye ready!

Update May 10th:

Consider this short video with an additional decode of the elite’s Invictus commercial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9ERmSLnzac&feature=youtu.be

The US athlete Harry points to (at 2.55 in) wears the number 239 for plutonium (often interpreted as meaning 9/23 up to now). The British competitor wears 223 for radium. Thus a nuclear attack could very well be implied.

Additional interpretation of ‘drop the mic’ is offered as well: drop Michael the archangel (at 4.00).

Nelson Mandela’s 2005 pre G7 speech at Trafalgar Square affirming UK ties, and calling upon the world to end poverty and ‘set them free’. Who and/or what do ‘yah‘ suppose he meant to be set free?

Revelation 9, KJV | The Fifth Trumpet

1And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

7And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

  1. So much symbolism with the upcoming Invictus Games! Thanks for bringing all the pieces together. There is only one I AM and Captain that we look for. Amen to these words, “Truth is a person. His name is Jesus Christ. The one, true captain of the heart, mind and soul, Lion of the tribe of Judah…..coming very soon for His bride.”

    1. Hi Tammy, you’re so welcome. I was so glad the Lord shared with me what or rather who truth was, until then when I conceptualized it, truth seemed always slightly abstract or relative. I have learned to love the absolutes of God’s Word. He is, therefor we may me rest in His being. Blessings, Sabine

  2. One of my favorite passages, or at least one that gives me chills each time I read the final line. We have Abraham connected to 100, his age when Issac was born. 100 is a fullness, 10×10, 10 plagues, 10 commandments. 100 is a consummation of time, or allotted period much like 120 but without the government element.

This passage connects directly to Abraham (Isaac at 100), thus Invictus 100 days/I AM. I always loved how Jesus referred to Himself in the present tense. The first read thru, you hear Abraham was and think you will read a tense consistent with the sentence. How naive, the first time I read John I was taken back. He was, He is, He is to come.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:56-58

    1. And what a blessing that before the earth was and we were, He knew us. Allowing to us to re | member who He was, is and will be, and who we are in Him heals what was severed by sin. Blessings, Matt

  3. There is a lovely old hymn “Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me”:

    Jesus, Savior, pilot me
    Over life’s tempestuous sea;
    Unkown waves before me roll,
    Hiding rock and treach’rous shoal.
    Chart and compass come from Thee;
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

“As a mother stills her child,
    Thou canst hush the ocean wild;
    Boist’rous waves obey Thy will
When Thou say’st to them “Be still!”
    Wondrous Sov’reign of the sea,
    Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

When at last I near the shore
    And the fearfull breakers roar
‘Twixt me and the peaceful rest,
Then, while leaning on Thy breast,
May I hear Thee say to me,
“Fear not, I will pilot thee .”
